Lotto may be the nation’s favourite game, but it still needs a social media post to help promote each Wednesday and Saturday draw. Simple one-hit-wonders that stand alone from the main campaigns, and grab attention across Facebook.

My approach

Key to creating social media success for Lotto was understanding how embedded the game is in the average players psyche. The dream of winning, the hope that it could be them plays a massive part in their lives. That’s why the copy deviates from the standard 2/3rd person marketing style. Instead it’s written from the reader’s perspective, to tap into what they are thinking and feeling.
